May is Lyme Disease Awareness Month. In this week’s episode, we explore how a greyhound may become infected with Lyme Disease, symptoms, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, and how to help prevent it.
- Donate to help Greyhound Friends of New Jersey help more former racing greyhounds get to where they need to be next: loving homes.
- Food grade diatomaceous earth, a non-toxic treatment (use a seed spreader) for your lawn and garden that kills tick and anything else with an exoskeleton but that is not only edible, but often eaten, by people and other mammals. (Remember to reapply after any rain.)
- Get your About Greyhounds podcast t-shirt and other merch. A portion of the proceeds of each item sold is donated to Greyhound Friends of New Jersey.
We’re not too proud to ask! Please consider giving us a 5 star rating and review on iTunes. Doing so will help get the podcast in front of more people who love greyhounds.
