From October 20 to October 29, 2017, greyhound lovers around the globe will be participating in an international, virtual event to benefit former racing greyhounds waiting to be adopted into homes where they’ll be loved. 5K for Greys is a virtual 5K done at your pace, at your place, in late October. This event is to help support the daily and, when applicable, healthcare needs, of the greyhounds waiting for homes of their own and in the care of Greyhound Friends of New Jersey. Participating is easy!
- Register.
- Complete your 5K by walking, running, biking (including stationary), swimming, rollerblading––any way you choose. That’s it––no need to report back in. We’re on the honor system!
- After 10/29, you’ll be mailed a gorgeous 5K for Greys medal (approximately 3″ across) on a royal blue ribbon.
