Episode 7: Inside GFNJ’s Greyhound Prison Foster Program

Go inside the prison where inmates and greyhounds help each other to transform their lives.

On May 14, 2017 Greyhound Friends of New Jersey (GFNJ) celebrates the 15th anniversary of our Prison Foster Program. In this episode, hear a conversation with Sue Smith, a former corrections officer with the New Jersey prison system,  GFNJ Executive Board Member, and leader of GFNJ’s Prison Foster Program. Sue paints a vivid picture of how the Program works, what a day-in-the-life is like for the dogs and inmates,  and why it has achieved such enduring tenure.
